To honor the 125th Anniversary of MutualBank, the MutualBank Charitable Foundation is donating a combined total of $125,000 to 10 Indiana community foundations. The receiving community foundations include: Allen, Delaware, Elkhart, Grant, Hamilton, Kosciusko, Montgomery, Randolph, St. Joseph and Wabash counties.

In Kosciusko County, Mutual Bank Charitable Foundation presented a check for $12,500 to the Kosciusko County Community Foundation.

These funds will be matched one to one by funds from the Lilly Endowment’s Gift VI and, in some cases; they will be additionally matched by local funds in specific counties. The total received by the previously listed community foundations as a result of this gift will be over $300,000.

The donation is made possible in part by a generous donation from MutualBank to the MutualBank Charitable Foundation.

“We are fortunate that those before us had the foresight to fund the foundation when MutualFirst became a public company in 1999,” says Pat Botts, president of the foundation. “These donations help create a lasting legacy of support for charitable organizations in our communities.”
