AKRON – The Tippecanoe Valley Middle School wrestling team competed in the Rochester Invitational on Saturday.

Branson McBrier led the way for the team with a first-place finish.

Isaac Lowe earned a runner-up finish for TVMS in the tournament. Placing third were Drake Montelongo, Luis Castillo, Chevy Teeter and Brandon Hammer.

Andrew Burke notched a fourth-place finish and Ian Becker and Jeremy Landis each placed fifth. Lucas Goble and April Slone both placed sixth.
