Milford Fire Department was called to a one-vehicle accident at 3379 CR 1300N, north of Milford, around 4:50 p.m. today.

The vehicle struck a utility pole after leaving the roadway, causing downed power lines. The accident resulted in the transformer catching fire. Multi-Township EMS was called to the scene to check the driver.

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department and Syracuse Police Chief Tony Ciriello responded to the scene. The KCSD is investigating the accident.
