John R. Harwood, 57, of North Manchester, passed away at 5:41 p.m. March 1, 2015, at Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.

He was born on Oct. 5, 1957, in Palatine, Ill., to Edward M. Harwood, deceased; and Dorothy M. (Miller), deceased.

He worked as an Electrical Engineer for Custom Magnetics, North Manchester. He was an avid golfer. He was a member of Moose Lodge #1518 and American Legion S.A.L. #286, North Manchester.

He is survived by his brother: Michael E. (Judy) Harwood, Palatine.

He was preceded in death by two sisters: Carol Ann and Kathleen May.
