WARSAW – A pair of teams from the Outland Volleyball Club turned in outstanding performances this past weekend at tournaments in Indianapolis.

The Outland Schmidt/Smith 12’s volleyball team went undefeated at 6-0, while winning the gold division.  The team, coached by James Schmidt and Ranai Smith, played against several teams from Evansville, Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, Muncie and defeated the top 12’s team from the Michigan Elite National team in the championship by a 25-21, 25-10 final.

Team members for the undefeated squad were Betty Barnett, Kylie Smith, Elizabeth Schmidt, Izzy Hammill, Catherine Ondria, Kendra Love, Morgan Howard and Kendall Wayne.

The Outland Onyx 13’s team, coached by Anthony Blue, placed fifth out of  more than 30 teams. They played teams from all over the Midwest including Indiana, Kentucky and Michigan.

Team members for the Onyx 13’s squad are Katie Schmidt, Kylie Prater, Allie McGuire, McKenna Hawblitzel, Cami Dahms, Gwyn Bellamy, Emma Hoff, Delaney Walters, Elizabeth Kleopfer and Haley Howard.
