Theodore MethodTheodore Willis “Ted” Method, 85, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 4:50 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 20, 2015, at Millers Merry Manor in Syracuse.

He was born on July 15, 1929 in Syracuse, to Ralph & Eloise (Mabie) Method.

He was a lifetime Syracuse area resident and attended Syracuse High School. On Sept. 10, 1954 in Syracuse he married Marjorie “Jo” Solina who preceded him in death on Oct. 26, 2005.

He retired in 1994 from Homecrest Cabinetry in Goshen after 15 years of service. He formerly farmed, raised hogs, and worked at Vega Industries in Syracuse. He was a United States Air Force veteran. He formerly attended the Syracuse Church of God

He is survived by: one daughter, Alyson (Joe) Savage of Syracuse; one grandson, Hayden Savage of Steamboat Springs, Colo.; and one sister, Jean Robinson of Syracuse

He was preceded by his parents and wife.

Military graveside services will be at noon Thursday, Feb. 26, at the Syracuse Cemetery, Mill St., Syracuse, with Pastor David Herr former minister of Calvary United Methodist Church in Syracuse officiating.

Lunch will follow graveside services at the Calvary United Methodist Church, 801 S. Huntington St., Syracuse.

Memorial bequest may be given to Syracuse Fire Department/EMS, 8138 E. McClintic Road, Syracuse, IN 46567.

Owen Family Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
