At approximately 5:45 a.m. Tuesday, Feb 17, Leesburg Fire Department and Warsaw Fire Department were called to Helser’s Metal Finishing on CR 200N.

According to officials at the scene, a small electrical fire started in an attic space in the facility. The fire was initially contained by 6:21 a.m.

A rekindle was reported at 8:51 a.m. Leesburg Fire has responded to the rekindle. LFD reported back in service at approximately 9:10 a.m.

The extent of the damages is unknown at this time.
