Yeo Leads Triton Blowout Of Bremen
BOURBON – A fast start and a big finish carried Triton past Bremen 56-29 in prep boys basketball action Thursday night.
The host Trojans led 17-4 after the opening quarter of the Northern State Conference game.
Bremen rallied to cut the deficit to 25-17 at halftime. The Trojans then outscored the Lions 31-12 in the second half for the dominating win.
Masen Yeo had a huge game to lead Triton to the league win. Yeo poured in 26 points as he hit 9-16 shots from the field, including 4-8 from 3-point range. Yeo also had six rebounds in the rout.
Jordan Anderson scored 10 poins and Grant Johnson had eight points and seven rebounds for the Trojans.
Triton shot 19-41 from the field in the win, including 7-18 from distance.
The Trojans improve to 11-7 overall and go to 5-1 in NSC play.
Matt Box led Bremen with 10 points.
The Lions, who have lost nine in a row, drop to 3-15 overall and 1-5 in league play.
Bremen shot just 11-40 from the field, including 1-15 from deep. The Lions were also 6-13 from the free throw line.
Triton hosts Rochester and Bremen plays at Tippecanoe Valley in non conference games Tuesday night.
