Free Telescope Clinic Held At Harrison Elementary
Ever wonder how telescopes work? Have a telescope, but find it difficult to use? Interested in buying a telescope but don’t know where to begin? A free telescope clinic will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20.
This clinic will be held at Harrison Elementary in Warsaw. The back gym doors will open for the program at 6 p.m.
Sponsored by the Harrison Junior Astronomical Society and the Warsaw Astronomical Society, both group will be on hand to offer basic instruction in telescope use and to answer any questions you may have. Bring in any telescope that is not performing well and receive help, training and encouragement.
You do not need to bring a telescope to attend. You can see telescopes up close, receive educational materials to share with your family, and learn about telescope purchasing. The whole family is welcome to attend.
There will be no telescope sales, as neither astronomical society solicits.
Call Harrison Elementary at (574) 269-7533 or email Rick Glass or Ed Jarrett for questions or inquiries.
