INITIAL REPORT (10:28 a.m.): North Webster Police and Fire Department, along with Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, are at the scene of a single vehicle accident on Armstrong Road, just west of CR 475E.

The vehicle struck a NIPSCO utility pole causing it to snap. According to Chief Greg Church, the pole is dangerously close to snapping off, and is currently hanging too low for semis to pass under. Armstrong Road, from Pie Eyed Peteys to the CR 475E will be closed until NIPSCO can fix the pole.

Only minor injuries were reported as a result of the accident. NIPSCO was not yet on scene at time of posting.
