WINONA LAKE – Hannah Delp had a big game Tuesday night for the Lakeland Christian Academy girls basketball team.

Unfortunately, the host Cougars dropped a 39-32 final to Lakewood Park Christian.

Delp poured in 18 points and hit four 3-pointers for LCA.

Rachel Sand had six points and eight rebounds for the Cougars. Ashley Ormsby, Maryl Gerst, Joselyn Helton and Carissa Urschalitz each netted two points. Urschalitz also had six rebounds and five blocked shots. Ormsby and Gerst each had three rebounds.

LCA drops to 7-15 on the season, while Lakewood Park improves to 3-15.

LCA plays its final regular-season game at North Miami Thursday. Lakewood Park hosts Prairie Heights Thursday night.
