NWS Issues Winter Weather Advisory
The National Weather Service in northern Indiana has issued a winter weather advisory for snow, in effect from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. today.
According to the NWS, snow accumulations of 2-4 inches are expected with locally higher amounts possible. Snow may be briefly heavy at times with reduced visibilities. Untreated roads will become slippery making travel hazardous. Reduced visibilities at times will create additional driving challenges.
The NWS notes a winter weather advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties and advises drivers to use caution while driving.
