Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
8:01 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3, North CR 300E near CR 1300N, Warsaw. Driver: Salvador R. Gonzalez, 37, Third Street, Ligonier. Gonzalez lost control of his vehicle, slid off the road and struck a utility pole. Damage up to $5,000
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
5:38 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2, Center Street near Harrison Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Ashley M. Scholar, 29, Pine Street, Warsaw; Mark A. Sproul, 55, Lake Tahoe Trail, Warsaw. Scholar was unable to stop due to slick roads and rear-ended Sproul. It was determined that Scholar was driving on a suspended license without insurance. She was arrested for those offenses. Damage up to $10,000
3:22 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 1, 700 block of North Parker Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Brennon T. Roth; Roger A. Fitzpatrick. Roth slid into Fitzpatrick’s vehicle while pulling into a parking spot. Damage up to $5,000
Winona Lake
Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accidents:
4:09 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 1, Packerton Road near Pierceton Road, Winona lake. Driver: Kahler R. Snow, 18, Wade Road, Warsaw. Snow turned to avoid a collision with another vehicle and ran off the road, striking a fence. No damage to the fence was reported. Damage up to $5,000
12:06 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 1, Kings Highway near Wooster Road, Winona Lake. Drivers: Nubia M. Sanchez, 35, Oak Pointe Crossing, Warsaw. Sanchez slid through the intersection and collided with a vehicle driven by Kevin Stonebraker. Damage up to $10,000
