Frances JohnsonFrances Dena Johnson, 86, Plymouth, passed away at 8:25 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015, at Miller’s Merry Manor, in Plymouth.

Frances was born on Oct. 6, 1928, in Holland, Mich., to John Frances and Dena (Schultz) Rogers. Frances married Lloyd Richard Johnson on July 14, 1973. He preceded her in passing on May 8, 1995. She had lived in the Plymouth and Argos areas for the past 45 years. Frances had worked for IGA grocery store, in the meat department, in Argos. She was a former member of the Volkring Club.

Frances is survived by her daughter: Patricia Lynn Keen, Tupelo, Missouri; her grandchildren: Jesse (Jessica George) Stafford; Amy Owens; her great-grandchildren: Levis, Cole, Hayden, Trevor and Sam; and her brothers: Gene (Shirley) Rogers and William Schmidt.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, at Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 W. Madison St., Plymouth. Funeral services 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, Van Gilder Funeral Home. Funeral services 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, Van Gilder Funeral Home. Burial will be in New Oak Hill Cemetery at a later date.
