The North Webster Community Public Library announces the promotion of Teresa Brown to circulation manager.
Brown formerly served as circulation clerk. In her new position as circulation manager, she is responsible for managing the circulation staff, training new personnel, fulfilling patrons’ requests for materials, accepting library applications, and ensuring efficient operation of the circulation desk. She is taking over the position from Sandy Jagger who will continue to work part-time in the circulation department.
Brown holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in teaching and an Associate Degree in dietetics from Ball State University. Prior to joining the library staff three years ago, she managed the North Webster Elementary School library for 17 years. Previous experience also includes five years as food services director for the Wawasee School Corporation.
A Wabash native, Brown lives with her family in the North Webster area.
The North Webster Community Public Library is located in the North Webster Community Center at 301 N. Main Street in North Webster. The Library is open from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday-Thursday, from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Friday, and from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday.
