AKRON – A strong second half effort carried Tippecanoe Valley past Clinton Christian 61-48 in prep boys basketball action Tuesday night.

The host Vikings outscored Clinton Christian 29-19 in the second half en route to the win.

Neil Clampitt led the offense for the winners with 18 points.

Chandler O’Connor had 12 points and 10 rebounds for Valley. Gavin Bussard scored 11 points and Alex Thacker netted 10.

Valley, now 7-6, hosts conference foe Southwood Friday night.
