INDIANAPOLIS – Marian University football coach Mark Henninger has received a national honor.

Henninger was named the American Football Coaches’ Assoction NAIA National Coach of the Year.

Henninger, in his second season at Marian, guided his team to an 11-3 record and a national runner-up finish during the 2014 season.

Tristan McClone, a WCHS graduate, was a freshman member of the Marian team.
