Are you interested in taking your career to the next level in 2015? We Inspire Support Empower Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to the education and support of the professional career interests of women, is kicking off 2015 with an event focused on getting involved.

“The New Year, New You: Get Involved” event will introduce W.I.S.E., their mission and how you can enhance your professional career.

W.I.S.E. offers three different opportunities to enhance your professional career- membership, mentoring and volunteering. Membership will allow you to become a part of a leading organization in Northern Indiana that supports professional career interests, build a cross-industry network and develop knowledge and leadership skills through specifically designed educational programs and workshops. Membership also lends the opportunity to get involved by volunteering on various committees or participating in W.I.S.E.’s one-of-a-kind mentoring program.

The W.I.S.E. mentoring program offers one-on-one or group mentoring, where mentor and mentees build a dynamic professional relationship based on career interests, development and leadership. The mentoring program experienced great success in 2014 and look forward to an even more successful 2015.

“Following our inaugural year of the mentoring program, we are excited to begin year two of the W.I.S.E. mentoring program. Our committee has planned a great program for 2015, offering individual and group mentoring opportunities as well as educational and networking events for participants. Mentoring plays an essential role in one’s career and I am looking forward to offering this unique program to our members,” stated Gina Becerra, W.I.S.E. Inc. President-Elect and Vice President of Mentoring.

Registration is now open for the W.I.S.E. New Year, New You: Get Involved event to be held from 5:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22. at Champagne Jam. To register for the upcoming event, go to wiseincorporated.org. The event is free. Registration is required.
