ELKHART – Wawasee ended its Northern Lakes Conference dual season with a thud Thursday night, losing to host Elkhart Memorial 56-6.

The Warriors fell to 3-25 overall and 0-7 in NLC duals, the second consecutive season without a dual win in the conference.

Wawasee junior Tristin Ponsler scored the only points for the Warriors, earning a pin Thursday night.

Results for the entire meet were not provided by either school.

Wawasee will enter its final regular season action Saturday at the Western Duals, a 9 a.m. start.

The Northern Lakes Conference Championships will take place Saturday, Jan. 24, at Goshen High School and sectional action is Jan. 31, with Wawasee working at Plymouth High School.
