MARION – A big second half paced host Eastbrook past Whitko 68-49 in prep boys basketball action Tuesday night.

Whitko, which led 18-10 after the first quarter, was outscored 38-22 in the second half of the non-conference contest.

Nate Walpole paced the Wildcats with 17 points and six assists.

Cole Kessie netted 12 points and River West added six for Whitko. Tanner Gaff had three points to go with eight rebounds.

Eastbrook, winners of three in a row, improves to 6-5. Whitko drops to 1-9.

Whitko hosts league foe Southwood Friday night. Eastbrook plays at Oak Hill Friday night.
