KENDALLVILLE – Warsaw opened its 2015 gymnastics season Tuesday night, but were not able to keep pace with host East Noble. The Knights took first in every category in handing Warsaw a 98.35-89 defeat.
Warsaw program newcomer Jazzmine Brown, a transfer from Tippecanoe Valley, paced Warsaw in tying for first on beam, taking second on vault and compiling a runner-up finish in all-around scoring.
Katie Richard was fourth on beam and Shannon Winslow added a fourth-place finish on bars as well as vault.
Complete scoring for the meet, including East Noble’s individuals, were not given.
Warsaw will return to action Saturday in a visit to Elkhart Central, a noon start.
