WINONA LAKE – After helping Grace to its biggest win of the season, Allison Kauffman was honored with her second Player of the Week award from the Crossroads League.

Kauffman powered the Lady Lancers to an 81-71 upset of No. 7 St. Francis on Saturday. The Fort Wayne, Ind., senior forward had the only double-double of the contest with 21 points and 11 rebounds. For the week, Kauffman poured in 25.0 points and 13.0 rebounds per game, making 52 percent from the floor, 50 percent from the 3-point line and 85 percent from the charity stripe.

She also tallied 29 points and 15 boards in a loss against Spring Arbor.

Kauffman, who leads the league with 9.2 rebounds per game, also won the weekly award on Nov. 3. She ranks No. 3 in the league with 19.4 points per game.

The Lady Lancers have a pair of home games this week, including against Marian at 7 p.m. Wednesday and against Huntington at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
