Concord Ladies Top Warsaw
WARSAW – The Warsaw girls swim team wrapped up conference competition Saturday with a home loss to Concord.
The guests won all but one event en route to a 130-55 win in the Northern Lakes Conference matchup.
Warsaw’s lone individual win came from standout Brenna Morgan. She took first in the 50 freestyle with a winning effort of 25.62. Morgan also placed second in the 100 freestyle.
The Tigers also placed second in the 200 medley relay event.
The trio of Erin Sandberg, Lauren Kuhl and Savannah Taylor each had a pair of third-place finishes for Warsaw. Sandberg was third in the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly. Kuhl was third in the 200 freestyle and 100 backstroke. Taylor took third in both the 200 IM and 500 freestyle.
Also place third for the Tigers was Laurel Moeller in the 100 breaststroke race.
Warsaw drops to 3-5 overall and finishes 2-5 in NLC action. The Tigers will compete in the NLC Preliminaries Thursday night at Northridge. The NLC Meet Finals are slated for Saturday, also at Northridge.
