Marjorie M. Sullivan
Marjorie M. Sullivan, 86, a lifetime area resident, passed away at 11:40 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015 in Pilgrim Manor Nursing Center, Plymouth.
Born in LaPaz on May 17, 1928, Marjorie was the daughter of Benjamin H., Sr. and Mae Rosetta (Stoup) Sherwood.
On July 4, 1954, Marjorie and Francis X. Sullivan, Jr. were married in Terre Haute. Francis preceded her in death on March 4, 1998.
She had attended LaPaz Schools.
Before her marriage to Francis, Marjorie worked as a waitress for Howell’s Chicken In The Rough in Plymouth. Later she worked at J. C. Penney’s in Plymouth, as well as Blue Star Auto Parts and Bendix Corp., both in South Bend.
Marjorie is survived by four sons: Cary Sullivan, Shawn Sullivan and Rex Sullivan, all of Plymouth, and Tim (Tamber) Sullivan, Rochester. Also surviving are three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Francis; four brothers: Ben, Ellsworth, Leland and Orbie; and two sisters: Mary Howard and Neva Fisher.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12 at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.
Funeral services will follow visitation at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12 in the funeral home with Rev. Charles Krieg officiating.
Burial will take place at New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.
