Cynthia Carroll, 49, of Ligonier, passed away Jan. 8, 2015 in Goshen. She was born on April 19, 1965 to Willis and Florence (Thurmund) Carroll in Happy, Texas. She married Mike Long on June 17, 2000.

She is survived by her husband, Mike Long, Ligonier; her father, Willis Carroll, Amarillo, Texas; her siblings: Linda (Mike) Kelly, Amarillo, Texas, Dora (Andy) Meroney, Amarillo, Texas, and Allan Carroll, Victoria, Texas. Five nieces and a nephew also survive.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Florence Carroll, and a niece, Ivy Meroney.

Cynthia was an Agricultural Research Engineer for Texas A&M University.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11 at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier. Pastor Mel Heininger with Green Chapel Church will officiate. A cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Center.
