Krystal Conley, 21, 2184 E. CR 300N, Huntington, was airlifted to a Fort Wayne hospital with head injuries following an early morning accident in Whitley County.

According to the Whitley County Sheriff’s Department the accident occurred at 6:50 a.m. today at SR 114 and SR 105.

Jeremy Gayed, 37, 6678 W. Maple Grove Road, Huntington, was northbound on SR 105 and did not see the westbound Conley vehicle on SR 114, driving his 1997 Dodge pick up out from the intersection hitting the driver’s side of Conley’s vehicle.

Conley was pinned inside her 2009 Jeep and was extricated by fire personnel.
