RICHMOND – Indiana University East issued its student athlete Dean’s and Chancellor’s Lists for the fall 2014 semester, and Triton High School graduate and IUE freshman Taylor Hatfield was among the lot.

Thirty-four Indiana University East student-athletes made the IU East Chancellor’s List or Dean’s List during the 2014 fall semester – the highest total in the athletic program’s history.

Hatfield was among 12 athletes to make the Chancellor’s List, which recognizes IU East’s students who took 12 or more credit hours and completed the semester with a grade point average of 4.0 on a 4.0 scale. Hatfield, Mackenzie Boles and Jenna Knepp were all Chancellor’s List recipients from the women’s basketball program.

Women’s basketball teammates Mackenzie Campbell, Kaitlin Dobbins, Bailey Dreiman, Kristen Miller and Keragan Niehoff were all named to the Dean’s List, earning at least a 3.5 grade point average.

Hatfield has played in eight games this season for the Red Wolves, averaging just over four minutes per game.
