At 11:47 a.m. today officers with the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department responded to an accident on CR 43, just south of US 6.

According to authorities Maria Calderon of Albion was headed north on CR 43 when the snowy road conditions caused her car to slide off the road. Calderon and Marissa Antu, a passenger in the car, were transported to to Goshen Hospital for non-incapacitating injuries.
