Two people were taken to Lutheran Hospital, For Wayne by Multi-Township EMS following a two-vehicle accident at 12:34 p.m. Saturday. The accident was on West CR 900N at North CR 425W, Milford.

Theldon R. Burt, 79, East CR 350S, Pierceton, suffered possible head and internal injuries. A front seat passenger, June E. Burt, 77, East CR 350S, Pierceton, had to be extricated by fire personnel. She complained of pain to her right side. Edward E. Stutzman, 54, North CR 625W, Milford, driver of the second vehicle was not injured.

Kosciusko County Police report Stutzman was westbound on CR 900N in his 1998 GMC truck when Burt drove his 2011 Ford into the path of the truck. Stutzman told police he saw Burt stop at the intersection but t the last second pulled out into the intersection.

Damage was estimated up to $100,000.

INITIAL: Authorities are currently responding to a two-vehicle accident at 4282 W. 900N in Milford.

Authorities on scene advised that the accident occurred when a car pulled out in front of another car that was westbound on W. 900N, resulting in the westbound car to strike the one that had pulled in front of it. Two individuals from the car that was struck were transported to Fort Wayne Lutheran Hospital for further evaluation.
