Eva J. McClintic, 86, of Milford, passed away Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015, IU Goshen Hospital.

She was born Sept. 5, 1928, in Lafayette to Russell and Hazel (Miller) Wineland. She married Bruce D. McClintic on April 26, 1947. He survives.

Eva has lived most of her life in the area and worked for Dana Corporation for 21 years and Sprague for 10 years. She was a member of the American Legion, VFW and DAV Auxiliaries.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years; a daughter: Joellen Free, Milford; two sons: Jack (Janet) Stump, Watkinsville, Ga.; Jerry (Barb) McClintic, Milford; two granddaughters: Jennifer Garcia, Milford; Suellen Kipp, Fort Wayne; four grandsons: John (Nicole) Free, Price, Utah; Doug Free, Las Vegas, Nev.; Chad (Kim) McClintic of North Webster; Josh (Abby) McClintic, North Webster; five great-grandsons; three great-great granddaughters; and a daughter-in-law: Christine Stump, Milford.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 4, at Mishler Funeral Home, Milford. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Jan. 5, at the funeral home, with Pastor Bob Rosa officiating. Burial will follow at Milford Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to Goshen Home Care and Hospice.
