Arneal C. Gunter LeesburgArneal C. Gunter, 96, Leesburg, passed away, Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014, at Mason Healthcare in Warsaw.

She was born July 18, 1918, in Milford to Pardee and Grace (Ringgenberg) Warstler. On July 18, 1936 she married Edward “Ted” Gunter, who preceded her in death on Nov. 27, 2009.

Arneal was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and loved spending time with her family. She was a homemaker and worked part time as a clerk at the Leesburg Post Office. Arneal loved the Lord and faithfully attended the Leesburg Grace Brethren Church where she was one of the founding members. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband to their summer home in Marcellus, Mich.

She is survived by a son: Pardee (Toshiko) Gunter, Leesburg; a daughter: Shelba (Sam) Cooper, Leesburg; five grandchildren: Tina, Vondria, Joshua, Eddie, Tai and 16 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; a granddaughter: Tonya Underhill; two brothers: Johnny and Myron Warstler; and two sisters: Opal Smith and Dorothy Bullock.

Services for Arneal will be private. The family has requested that any donations be directed to Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice.
