Icy road conditions due to a freezing frost caused Ashleigh M. Koslow, 18, South Edwater Drive, Silver Lake, to loose control of her vehicle Friday morning. The accident was at 6:24 a.m. Friday, Dec. 26, on South SR 15, south of CR 700S, Claypool.

Koslow complained of pain to the neck. She was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital.

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputies report Koslow’s vehicle went off the roadway hitting an embankment, large log and trees. Damage was estimated up to $5,000.

Multi-Township EMS, Claypool Fire and the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department are responding to an accident on SR 15 south of the overpass near Claypool.

Reports are the state highway is extremely slick.
