Clifton Valentius Holiday, 27, Winona Lake, was sentenced in United States Federal Court, Northern District, South Bend. He received an 84-month sentence with two years supervised release. He plead guilty to the felony offense of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
According to the United States Attorney’s Office, documents filed in the case state on March 2, officers while responding to a fight call at a Winona Lake residence, found a Ruger handgun with a jammed round in the breach belonging to Holiday. Additional magazines and rounds of ammunition were also found.
The case was the result of an investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Assistant United States Attorney Jesse Barrett prosecuted the case.
