Unbeatens Nolin, Hatch Lead Tigers

Warsaw Sports LogoMISHAWAKA – The Warsaw wrestling duo of Rory Nolin and Kyle Hatch showed off their talents Saturday in a big way.

The pair of grapplers each went undefeated to lead coach Justin Smith’s squad in a strong field at the Penn Super Duals.

Senior Nolin went 5-0 at 195 and sophomore Hatch was a perfect 5-0 at 120 for Warsaw. The outstanding pair are both now 17-0 on the season.

Warsaw finished the day with a 2-3 team mark. The Tigers beat Culver Academies 52-18 and Homestead 42-32. Warsaw lost to Penn 51-27, NorthWood 43-30 and Edwardsburg 57-21.

Both Penn, ranked No. 5, and Edwardsburg went 5-0 on the day to share top team honors.

Jeremy Lee (132) and Andrew Brock (220) each went 4-1 for Warsasw. Anthony Penn was 3-1 at heavyweight for the Tigers.

Warsaw returns to action Dec. 30-31 in the Al Smith Invitational at Mishawaka High School.
