The Silver Alert issued today on James Allen Blint has been cancelled as of 7:20 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.

A statewide Silver Alert has been declared on the disappearance of a LaPorte man. The LaPorte County Sheriff is investigating the disappearance of James Allen Blint, an adult from LaPorte.

Blint is an 85-year-old white male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 155 pounds, with short white hair and blue eyes. James Allen Blint was last seen today, at 8 a.m. Dec. 18, in LaPorte and is believed to be in danger.

It is unknown what type clothing Blint may be wearing. Blint may be disoriented and require medical assistance. He is believed to be driving a 1998, four-door Buick Lacrosse, maroon in color with Indiana plate 118BHR.
