Van Buren county, Michigan, police are asking for help in finding 15 year old Patty McDonald, who ran away from her home Wednesday, Dec. 17.

Patty’s father told investigators that he fell asleep in the living room of their house around 8:30 p.m. Dec. 17 and when he woke up, Patty was gone. He found a note from her indicating that she had run away.

Police say the family is distraught over Patty’s leaving and want her to return home. She is 5’7″ tall, weighs approximately 140 pounds, has strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes. There is no specific description of what she was wearing when she left home.
