AKRON – The Tippecanoe Valley Middle School boys basketball teams went 1-1 versus North Miami Tuesday night.

Valley won the 8th grade contest by a 65-18 final.

Jake Gearhart poured in 22 points and Wes Melanson had 18 for the winners. Cameron Parker added nine points for Valley.

North Miami won the 7th grade game 58-47.

Trevor Trippiedi and Tucker Shull each had eight points to lead Valley. Jaydin Conley and Braxton Tolson each scored seven points and Jace Potter and Harry Johnston each added six for Valley.
