NORTH WEBSTER – You can always count on the SWAT Team to perform.

For the third season in a row, SWAT Team were top of the mark in the North Webster adult co-ed volleyball league, winning the postseason tournament Monday night at the North Webster Community Center.

SWAT Team were pushed by Wangs-N-Thangs in the final but swept in a 25-17, 27-25 result. Thangs, the No. 4 seed, reached the final through the loser’s bracket, beating No. 2 seed Blockbusters 15-25, 25-23, 15-13 in the night’s first game. The top seeded SWAT Team made the final without losing in bracket play.

The winter co-ed season will begin Jan. 5. The league still has a couple of openings, to which interested parties can call league coordinator Mike Kissinger at (574) 453-8771.
