Frank D. Boggs, 85, North CR 50W, Columbia City, died from injuries sustained in an accident at SR 109 and CR 400N, in Whitley County. The accident was at 2:35 p.m. Saturday.

Information regarding Boggs’ death was released Sunday afternoon by the Whitley County Sheriff’s Department.

A passenger in his vehicle, Sherrill D. Boggs, 78, N. CR 50W, Columbia City, is listed in fair condition. Both were taken to Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.

The Boggs vehicle collided with a vehicle driven by Billie Jo Grant, 45, South Woodstrail Drive, Columbia City. Grant and a passenger, Gabriellle Pterson, W. CR 275S, Larwill, suffered minor injuries and were taken to Parkview Whitley Hospital.
