WALKERTON – Host John Glenn used a big second half effort to pull away from Tippecanoe Valley Saturday night in non-conference boys basketball action.

The host Falcons outscored the Vikings 34-19 in the final half to post a 66-44 win.

Alex Thacker had a huge night for Valley as he poured in a game-high 27 points.

Gavin Bussard netted six points and Neil Clampitt finished with five for the Vikings.

Valley drops to 2-3 with its second straight loss.

Alex Runyan and Drew McDonald each scored 14 points to lead a balanced offense for the Falcons.

Glenn improves its season mark to 4-2.

Valley hosts Whitko in its Three Rivers Conference opener Friday night. The Vikings then host Oregon-Davis Saturday night. Glenn plays at LaPorte Friday night.
