SOUTH BEND – Two days and two losses for the Wawasee girls basketball team.

The Lady Warriors were hoping to rebound from a Friday night loss to Goshen in their game against South Bend Adams but the Eagles were not going to roll over at home. Adams defeated Wawasee 57-35.

Wawasee’s Kylee Rostochak led all scorers with 18 points. Aubrey Schmeltz and Kaley Wood both finished with four points each. Reniya Columbus led Adams with 15 points.

Wawasee’s Elizabeth Jackson suffered a hand injury during the game but X-rays came back negative.

Adams won the junior varsity contest 35-26.
