WINONA LAKE – Hannah Delp had a big performance Saturday to lead her Lakeland Christian Academy girls basketball team to a win.

Delp, a junior, poured in 22 points as the host Cougars topped South Bend Trinity 62-34.

Delp hit four 3-pointers for the Cougars, who improved to 2-6 by snapping a five-game losing streak.

Junior Rachel Sand had 16 points to go with seven rebounds for LCA.

South Bend Trinity drops to 0-4 on the season.

LCA will play in the Bethany Christian Tournament Dec. 20. South Bend Trinity plays at Granger Christian Dec. 19.
