5:31 p.m Tuesday, Dec. 9, South CR 300E, north of CR East 1200S, Silver Lake. Driver: William R. Freels, 44, East SR 13, North Manchester. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.

Warsaw

Officers of the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

3:44 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, Husky Trail, Warsaw. Ross E Hollingsworth, East 12B Road, Bourbon, was sitting in a business when he saw a vehicle turn into the parking stall next to his vehicle. He observed the back of the vehicle kick sideways, the way it would if it made contact with an object. While he took a photo of the vehicle with his phone, the distance was too great to obtain any description except a possible color and make. The vehicle allegedly left the scene. Hollingsworth checked his vehicle and found damage to the left front bumper. Damage was estimated at under $750.
