Let Your Thoughts Be Heard
Want to have input on a city ordinance? There will be an opportunity at 4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15.
A public meeting will be held in the Warsaw Common Council Room at city hall, on the Neighborhood Preservation and Rental Ordinance.
This meeting, open to any city resident and property owners, will begin work on revamping the current ordinance. Jeremy Skinner, city planner, states the work is to clean up and make the existing ordinance better.
Currently the draft of the ordinance is reportedly 18 pages in length and includes state minimum requirements, which cannot be changed. The goal is to better define definitions, remove numerous gray areas and more.
A copy of the draft ordinance can be found here.
