SOUTH WHITLEY – The Whitko girls basketball team rolled past North Miami Saturday night in the Three Rivers Conference opener for both teams.

The host Wildcatsb bolted to a 16-4 lead after the opening quarter en route to a 57-19 win.

Brianna Cumberland popped in 21 points and Aly Reiff had 20 to pace Whitko.

The Wildcats improve to 4-3 overall and stand 1-0 in TRC action.

North Miami, which has lost its last four games, drops to 2-5 overall and 0-1 in league play.

Whitko plays at Manchester Friday. North Miami hosts Peru on Tuesday night.
