Cecil Hutcherson, 72, of Claypool, passed away Dec. 4, 2014, at his residence.

He was born March 25, 1942, in Lawrence County to Charles and Catherine (Sneed) Hutcherson. He married Gloria Beihl; she preceded him in death.

Cecil was a hard worker, driving truck for over 50 years. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, helping people whenever he could and playing golf in his spare time. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be missed by his family and friends.

Cecil is survived by four children: Jeffery (Tranae) Hutcherson, Warsaw; Carla Lewis, Silver Lake; Robert (Dawn) Hutcherson, Kendallville; Blaine Hutcherson, Claypool; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister: Charlotte (Tony) Schuller, Warsaw.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a wife: Gloria; and one brother: Charles.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday, Dec. 8, at Mishler Funeral Home, Milford. Funeral services will be private at a later date.
