Saturday night was a magical night in North Webster as Santa made an appearance to light the town’s Christmas tree and welcome in the holiday season.

Throughout the afternoon, Santa welcomed children of all ages to join him at the North Webster Community Center and share their Christmas wish list. Additionally, the children were treated to bounce houses, crafts, games, candy and pizza. Members of Boy Scout Troop 726 were on hand to help to help with the event.
Later in the evening, Santa boarded North Webster Fire Department Engine 71 for a short ride from the Community Center to Pilcher’s lawn to light the town’s Christmas tree. The parade procession was escorted down SR 13 by members of the North Webster Police Department and the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.
Following the lighting of the tree, everyone enjoyed hot chocolate and more pictures with the man from the North Pole.
