At 6:08 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, emergency personnel responded to an accident located on Packerton Road just south of CR 400 South.

According to an accident report provided by Winona Lake Police Department, Clayton D. Marcum, 18, of East Third Street, North Manchester was traveling northbound when he stated he began feeling tired and left the right side of the road causing his vehicle to slide and flip over. The vehicle then left the road, sideswiped a group of small trees and rolled onto its top, coming to rest in a field. Marcum was able to crawl out of his vehicle and was escorted to Kosciusko Community Hospital for treatment.

Damages are estimated to cost up to $10,000.
