A two-year-old was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital for minor bleeding to the head following a two-vehicle accident at 9:56 a.m. Saturday. The accident was at West Lake Street, east of Hepler Drive, Warsaw.

Brystol L. Caverley, 2, Nye Street, Warsaw, was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Kylie M. Cook, 22, Nye Street, Warsaw. Cook was not injured.

Warsaw Police report Cook was westbound on Lake Street when she turned her vehicle into the Wilby’s parking lot. She failed to see an eastbound vehicle driven by Heather J. Judd, 35, South Julian Drive, Warsaw. Judd was not injured.

Damage was estimated up to $25,000.

INITIAL: Emergency personnel are currently responding to an accident located on Lake Street near Hepler Drive in Warsaw.

Two vehicles were involved in the crash. According to officers with Warsaw Police Department, one child was injured with a non-life threatening injury and is being transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital by ambulance for treatment.

Warsaw Police Department, Warsaw Fire Department and Multi-Township EMS responded to the scene.
