Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

12:21 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 13. 920 Anchorage Road. Drivers: Ross M. Minear, 30, East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw; and Martha E. Beltran, Anchorage Road, Warsaw. Minear was backing up and struck into a vehicle registered to Beltran that was parked behind him. Damages: up to $5,000

Warsaw Police Department

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

10:54 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14. East Market and South Bronson Streets. Patricia L. Caudill, 83, SR 14, Silver Lake; and Pamela K. Chastain, 65, Nancy Street, Warsaw. Caudill was traveling eastbound on East Market Street when Chastain pulled out in front of her at the four-way stop sign intersection. Chastain stated that Caudill did not stop at the stop sign. Chastain’s driver side airbags were deployed in the crash. Caudill struck into the side of Chastain’s vehicle causing it to be pushed up into a sidewalk. Caudill complained of neck and chest pain and was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital (KCH). Chastain complained of neck, chest and right shoulder pain and she was transported to KCH. A passenger in Chastain’s vehicle, David A. Chastain, 66, complained of abdominal pain and was also transported by medics to KCH. Damages: up to $25,000.

10:15 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14. Lake City Highway and Parker Street. Drivers: Chuck Lisenbee, 53, West Prairie Street, Warsaw; and Victor Mitchell, 52, Bancroft Avenue, Rochester. Lisenbee was eastbound on US 30 approaching the Parker Street intersection when he failed to stop at the red light and collided with Mitchell’s vehicle, which was southbound on Parker Street. Damages: up to $2,500

8:55 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14. Lake City High way and South 250 East. Drivers: Jana M. Silveus, 60, North Fox Farm Road, Warsaw; and Betina R. Hill, 41, Linwood Lane, Wabash. Silveus was traveling eastbound on US 30 approaching the CR South 250E intersection when she failed to stop for a red light and struck into Hill’s vehicle as she turned left onto US 30 to travel west. Silveus and her passenger, Carla K. Arnold, 66, of North 200 West, Warsaw, were transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital (KCH) by EMS. Both had complaints of pain to their chest area. Hill complained of head pain and was transported by EMS to KCH. Damages: up to $25,000
